Valby Vokalgruppe, Skammens Vogn & Toke Tietze

Valby Vokalgruppe consists, among others, of Cæcilie Trier from Chimes & Bells and Anja Jacobsen from Kirsten Ketsjer. The group has had great success with their avant-garde approach to choir-singing, where the voice is both sampled and dubbed but is also allowed to stand alone as an instrument. With assistance from the naivistic minimalists of the Danish-speaking trio Skammens Vogn (members from Kira Skov and Moi Caprice) and from the sound artist, drummer and electronic composer Toke Tietze (yoyooyoy) this evening will showcase an entirely new production made for Wundergrund, where impressive, vocal plateaus are constructed, and melodic patterns and trance-like improvisations flow together with hectic drums and hip-hop beats.
