Phill Niblock

Phill Niblock is born in 1933 and is still touring the world along with his minimalistic drones. Niblock is known for his cooperation with spacejazz-composer Sun Ra, and his role on the New York scene with Tony Conrad, John Cale and La Monte Young. His monolithic concerts are combinations of slow films and layer-upon-layer of raw notes creating masses as rough and relentless as a natural phenomenon.
