Lasse Marhaug

The Merzbow of the North has Norwegian Lasse Marhaug been named, and there can be no doubt about him being one of the world’s largest and most consistent names within noise and other related genres. Since the 1990’s Marhaug has marked himself as one of the largest Scandinavian avant-garde names, who has also created music for theater, dance and video art. He is one half of Jazzkammer, plays in the group Nash Kontroll with Mats Gustafsson, and furthermore Marhaug has performed with icons such as Merzbow, Sunn O))), Carlos Giffoni and Maja Ratkje.
