Bedroom Community: Everything Everywhere All the Time (film)

The independent, Icelandic record company Bedroom Community has since 2006 drawn creative fireballs from all four corners of the world. In this documentary by Pierre-Alain Giraud we meet the people behind the successful and idealistic music-collective, as they gather around the ramshackle concrete building of the record company in the outskirts of Reykjavik, from which it sizzles with creative experiments. Musicians such as Sam Amidon, Nico Muhley, Ben Frost and Valgeir Sigurdsson lead the spectator through this picturesque documentary for a talk about solidarity, music and not least their so-called Whale Watching Tour, and how it came about…
