WUNDERGRUND at JAZZHOUSE - TICKETS: DDK 80,-/50,-

At Copenhagen Jazzhouse, the Danish jazz quartet Spring, will go for the compositions of nine of Denmark’s greatest composers. All normal genre definitions and music boxes will be erased, and something new, and undefined will emerge. Spring is known for playing music inspired by the creative, avant-garde jazz scene of the 1960’ies and 70’ies, but at Wundergrund, it is the breathless contemporary that the Movers & Shakers are addressing. Spring consists of Torben Snekkestad on saxophone, Anders Banke on clarinet and saxophone, Jonas Westergaard on doublebass and Peter Bruun on drums. They will meet new music by Karsten Fundal, Peter Bruun,  Svend Hvidtfelt Nielsen, Simon Christensen, Jexper Holmen, Michael Nyvang, Morten Olsen, Casper Cordes and Jeppe Just Christensen.

The programme on Jazzhouse continues with the well reputable and touring cellist Jakob Kullberg. He is meeting the jazz musicians Jakob Bro (guitar) and Eske Nørrelykke (bass) and the result is a mix of classical and jazz music. The Jacob Kullberg project is based in the jazz genre, but tries to take it apart, and change it, so it might as well be modern classical music. The trio takes concrete modern classical compositions, for example a work by the famous Danish artmusic composer Per Nørgård, and ads elements, which are normally in the jazz world...

DR P2 will record the concerts.

Late night lounge: Aida Nadeem/Fuat Talay. Mrs. Nadeem mixes traditional Arabian tones with classical music and electronic beats in interaction with Fuat Talay on saz. Don't miss...!

The lounge is presented in co-operation with Dansk Artist Forbund

MCA is directly involved in a story I believe there may not be 646-204 journalistic independence in the Star's reports. Tell me if I am wrong. Since PwC's audit report was made public there have been many headlines and some letters in The Star hailing and commending you the minister, Najib the PM 70-646 and the BN government in general for starting a new direction towards transparency, accountability and openness. However I will just refer to two such items in the N10-004 Saturday, 30 May 2009 edition of The Star, a news item and a letter from a reader. News item headlined "KUDOS TO NAJIB AND TEE KEAT" on page N3 hails move by government to release PKFZ 1Y0-A17 findings in entirety. This news item also includes fawning commendations to both PM Najib and you
