A night not to miss: Wundergrund and artFREQ proudly present Soap&Skin and Blixa Bargeld/Alva Noto, Friday, September 23 in the impressing and reverent old Marble Church, in the center of Copenhagen.

This night, the two German artists, Blixa Bargeld and Alva Noto, will shake the pillars of the old church, with a unique combination of performance, song and electronic music. Blixa Bargeld vs. Alva Noto is going to be a border-crossing meeting between two of Germanys most influential sound art pioneers. The bold and terrific vocal of the former Nick Cave and the bad seeds guitarist, Blixa Bargeld (Westberlin), will be in front of Alvo Noto’s (Eastberlin) minimal techno electronics and computers. The two experimenting artists together, produce an architectural field in the borderlines between language and music. Copenhagen is one of the only cities in the world, that will have the chance to present Noto vs. Bargeld live. And that, even in front of the alter in one of Denmark’s most awe-inspiring churches. As if this wasn’t enough, the curator of the concert, Lars Top Galia, has invited the only 19 year old Austrian singer, pianist and electronic musician, Anja Plaschg aka SOAP&SKIN inside under the dome. She has already been nominated as Nicos artistic heir, and that, formulated by the Velvet Underground legend John Cale! The combination of her seductive music, that floats freely between the borderlines of singer song writing, electronic, and classical, and the sound and solemnness of the big old church, is going to be a thrilling experience.
