August Rosenbaums Hurrah Trio & DASK Strings

Pianist August Rosenbaum is with his just 24 years a comet on the Danish jazz-scene, where he with the greatest naturalness integrates progressive rock, drone and compositional music into the jazz. At Wundergrund Rosenbaum’s ‘Hurrah Trio’ with Lars Greve (saxophones) and Mads Forsby (drums) will play up against Berlin-underground indie-string quartet DASK. A meeting between compositional music and free improvisation, where the floating sound of the string quartet mixes with the hard-core soundscapes of the dynamic trio in a speedy shuttle between the formless and the concrete.
